Golf Holidays in SpainThere is a story in musical circles which goes something like, a man carrying a violin walks up to another man carrying a violin in the streets of New York and asks him how to get to Carnegie Hall. Practice, my friend, practice, was the stranger's answer. This advice is useful in many areas of endeavour, whether it be playing an instrument, or playing a sport. When we manage to get a round of golf in once or perhaps twice a week, we see ourselves improving gradually over time. When business, or family commitments make it necessary to miss a game or two, we feel we are struggling to keep up the standard. The opposite applies, too, of course, if we can manage to squeeze in a few games without interruption, we can feel things getting better very quickly. This is your reason (or excuse) for arranging a golfing holiday in Spain. There will be no chance of being deterred by the weather, it is usually warm and dry in Spain. If you and your partner are both golfers, it is an ideal opportunity to get away together, golfing by day and enjoying the excellent cuisine in the evening. If you prefer to go with friends, often there will be some of the partty who like to soak up the sun and enjoy the pleasures of the beach, while enabling the golfers in the party to get in a few rounds, again still enjoying the delights of food and drink in the evening. The third option is to arrange a group outing for a party of friends, sometimes a foursome who survive the winter weather together on the strength of a trip in the Spring, or a larger party, again sampling the fellowship in the evening. There is a range of accommodation and packages available. You can book an apartment or villa, with or without golf course on the complex, or arrange a complete package with flights, accomodation and golf all included.
